Amina LIVE Foundation and International University of East Africa are pleased to announce a competitive MBA Scholarship opportunity for an outstanding early-career professional committed to strengthening communication, proposal development, and strategic presentation capacity within the Foundation. This scholarship aims to support the development of a future leader who will contribute directly to enhancing the organization’s visibility, fundraising efforts, and impact communication.

About the Opportunity

The selected candidate will receive full sponsorship online programme for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In return, the candidate will collaborate with Amina LIVE Foundation on key communication, documentation, and organizational support functions during the scholarship period.

This opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual with strong communication skills and a demonstrated interest in development, community empowerment, or environmental sustainability.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

1. Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields (or related disciplines):

  • Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or Media Studies
  • Development Studies, Community Development, Sociology, or Social Sciences
  • Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Management, Conservation, or related fields with strong communication capability
  • Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or Project Management

2. Skills and Competencies

  • Strong writing, editing, and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop high-quality presentations and visual communication materials
  • Interest or experience in proposal development, donor communication, or project documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and public-speaking skills
  • Basic proficiency in digital communication tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, Google Workspace)

3. Personal Qualities

  • Commitment to community-driven development
  • High levels of discipline, integrity, and initiative
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to organizational processes
  • Passion for environmental, social, or community-focused work

Key Responsibilities During the Scholarship

The selected candidate will work with ALIVE Foundation to:

  • Support proposal writing and donor documentation
  • Prepare professional presentations and communication briefs
  • Strengthen internal and external communication processes
  • Assist in developing outreach materials and storytelling content
  • Contribute to strategic organizational growth tasks as needed

This support will be structured to allow full participation in MBA studies.
